About the data
Traffic Cameras
There are approximately 275 traffic cameras installed along City of Ottawa roadways. Images from these cameras are available for display on the Traffic Map website. The resolution and quality of the images vary and depend on the type of camera equipment and network capabilities. Images are updated approximately every five seconds. The cameras are manipulated from the Traffic Operations Center, so the camera field of views will change over time.
